Yan Shishu, male, born in June 1964, Associate Professor in law, Senior Engineer in hydrological engineering and environmental geology. Practicing lawyer in Chengdu, arbitrator of Chengdu Arbitration Commission, Council Member of Chengdu Lawyers Association, member of the Expert Committee of Chengdu People’s Mediation Committee, member of Sichuan Law Society, and member of Sichuan Market Economy Law Application Association. His main research fields include construction and real estate law, environmental and resources law, intellectual property law, etc. He teaches undergraduate courses including Introduction to Law, Contract Law, Introduction to Economic Law, Introduction to Construction Law and Real Estate Law, Theory and Practice of Construction Law, Theory and Practice of Real Estate Law, etc. He teaches master of laws and juris master courses including Construction Law, Selected Topics on Construction Law, Environmental and Resources Legal System Research, Economic Law, General Theory of Economic Law, etc. He has presided over topics includingThe research on the protection mechanism of the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers,the legal issues of intellectual property rights in digital library,The experimental research on the reform of rural property rights in Chengdu,the research on the legal issues related to the land property rights reform in Chengdu,The legal system research on the flow of production factors between urban and rural areas, andThe legal system of ecological environment protection in the Western Sichuan Plateau. He has published more than ten articles in various professional journals, amongst them, the research “On copyright protection in cultural information resource sharing projects” won the first prize of excellent paper at ministerial level.
