At 14:00 on December 8, 2019, School of Public Affairs & Law held the 2020 New Year party in the college hall of Jiuli campus,SWJTU,with the theme of “forging ahead in the new era, with the heart of public management welcoming the new". School of Public Affairs & Law deputy secretary of CPC,dean Wang Yongjie, overseas dean, professor Tang Wenfang, deputy secretary of CPC,vice president Yu Xiaoying, associate professor Lei XuChuan , associate professor Li Huaqiang and Lei Bin, dean assistant, associate professor Deng Juntao and associate professor Peng Chuanyu, public management, politics, law, transportation public policy research center and the school authorities of many teachers attended and participated in the party.

At the beginning of the party, the students of physical education in our college performed "The Sun Comes Out in Joy" in the form of calisthenics. They were enthusiastic and energetic, which reflected the passion of our students and immediately ignited the atmosphere of the scene.

Subsequently, in response to the theme of "The 70th anniversary of the founding of the people’s Republic of China", this evening, with four chapters as the bone and various forms of programs as flesh, a three-dimensional framework of the struggle spirit of young students in the new era was built.

The collision of pre-Qin period and Renaissance, the fusion of eastern and western classics, MPA teachers and students brought the dance "When Caiwei meets Romeo" is the blend of classical and elegant. After enjoying the beautiful dance with a relaxed smile, the sketch "Beautiful Days" won thunderous applause from the audience with its humorous performance.

The youth keeps pace with The Times, the public management students' stage play "Di Shi Kun" traced back to the present, had shown since ancient times the hard-workers of the generations as the tenacious Backbone of China. As the song switched, the passionate dance "Crazy in Love" was sexy and wild, reflecting the passion of youth.

Professor of the Politics department,Dai Bin sang "Velvet Flowers", the melody was illusory and elegant, deep meaning sincere elegant exquisite, lyric aesthetic. In the melodious sound of the Mongol stringed instrument, the dance "Swan Goose" took you to appreciate the free and unrestrained Mongolian customs. With its highs and lows, the sitcom "Please Answer, 2019" perfectly answered its own questions about 2019 with rich content and diverse forms.

Love is an eternal theme of human beings. The dance "La La Land" displayed by law students interpreted a love story with elegant and beautiful dance movements. Love and the country is a never fading topic, into the new era, we make the country prosperous, the song "I’m the generation which makes the country prosperous " with melodious singing to express the feeling of patriotism.

At the moment of great attention, the outstanding students of our college came on the stage to accept the award. "Si Shi Yang Hua medal", "top ten League branch secretary", "national scholarship", "national inspirational scholarship", "three-good students model", "advanced class" and so on. All kinds of awards are the reward for the students of our school.

"The quiet village is floating with white snow, and pigeons fly under the gray cloudy sky". The guitar and chorus of "Birch Forest" performed by the teachers of the politics department brought us back to the solemn era through melodious tunes. The dance "Pick me Up" showed the students' youthful vigor and high-spirited posture.

The song "Love and Tomorrow" brought by the teachers of the public management department, let the audience taste the beautiful life in the classical singing, drew thunderous applause from the audience. Imperceptible time had passed for a long time, the law department teachers presented the song dance "Where has the time gone", with the soulful singing and dancing to show the passage of time in a touch of tenderness.

The song "Love in a New Era" told the story of love in a new age in different languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese and English. "When the young is strong, the country will be strong". The poem recitation "Today I am a Proud lawyer" expressed their love for law and the ideal of devoting themselves to the construction of a country ruled by law in the new era with a proud gesture.

"Sunshine always comes after the storm, please believe in the rainbow", "Sunshine always comes after the storm" brought by teachers and children from the Transportation Public Policy Research Center warmed the hearts of teachers and students. With the soothing melody, MPA's Xiong Yiying brought us a festive song with her elegant and beautiful voice.

In the song "God flourishes China" sang by the teachers and students choir of the School of Public Affairs & Law, the curtain came down, which drew a perfect full stop.

School of Public Affairs & Law, taking voyage towards our dream. Our students take prosperity as our responsibility and walk on the road of rejuvenation, showing infinite glory. In the new era and new journey, students of our college are not afraid of the storm or waves. Let's carry our bags and set sail.
